I have been trying to find out who sales it. It is on one of Magnum Offroad?s trucks. I am very curious to see if it helps out with the cooling.

Honestly, I dont like it either, seems like bling....replacing a metal one with a plastic one??? But to each his own, it just my opinion. It seems like less air could get in those scoops that the open factory one, especially at slower speeds which is when overheating tends to occur )i.e. off roading). But, I'm not an engineer.

That scoop is all show, no benefit. It would actually impede cooling, look at the grating. The engine area on a h1 is so tight when the hood is closed you would need a means to allow air flow out of the bay downstream from the radiator stack. Either a rearward outlet close to the windshield or ducting out the sides.
