Need your collective help. Several of us are fighting our HOA and taking our fight public. Please visit the listed url and post some form of support. There are already a few there so you'll see a few of the issues we have. We just want to log as many supporting comments as we can. The local news is monitoring the site as well because they have been out to interview me on 2 seperate issues. THANKS!

James
while living at PGA West in socal I racked up $2000 in false speeding and various other violations. At one point I was accused of speeding in a "white honda with a fin". I owned a Black BMW M3 at the time....We fought them tooth and nail, and finally had the situation remedied by an attorney. These idiots have quasi power and run with it. the head of our violations committe was a 90 year old retired judge. I guess this made him feel better about himself. Fight the good fight brother, for all of us who have been harassed by these ass munchers!!!!!

I don't even pay my association fees or give a damn about any of the rules. My excuse has always been that I was never presented any paperwork at the time I purchased the land about the rules. I've asked on two occasions to be given the information but they never bothered to get it to me.
I was told they could put a lien on my house for not paying but I can't pay if I don't have the paperwork to know what to do. The guy who runs it is extremely stupid though so he probably wouldn't know how to anyway.

JamesT. I went to your site but could not find any info on what the complaints actually are. HOA's are never a good thing but, depending how they are formed, sometimes you can just vote in right thinking people. Of course if it is run by the developer you may have a problem. Frank, look at your deed. The HOA is usually a covenant running with the land and the deed restrictions determine the power of the HOA. Do not ignore the HOA as they can really mess up your ownership. Until recently in Texas they could foreclose on your house. Be very very careful!

I cannot read those things unless they are pertinent to me, but I am 'S. Hall', I put "way to go" or something.

Dang James, that looks like too much work. I'd just move and let the whole neighborhood implode. The power freaks will be out of a job in no time.
You know what you need? One of those deer sprinklers. You know, the ones that trigger because of movement? Will keep some of the HOA busybodys out of your yard.
Good luck tho - it looks like you have a lot of support within the neighborhood, which is what really counts. Give me a call if you need some intimidation....maybe the headlights of 7-8 H2s revving at their bedroom window will stir up a bit of common sense in them.

As far as I know, they can still do that down here. I met a guy last year through a friend that pick up a 10K square foot house for about $150K because of the HOA forclosing in the previous owner. What a f*cking idiot do you have to be to let your million dollar home go over sh!t like that.

I guess I should go back and read all the fine print but I'm lazy, maybe I'll let the lawyer take a gander at it. If someone tries to foreclose my home there won't be one standing when the time comes.
