Default Re: H2 Bumpers faded...Here is your answer

ok Guys, I finally dod the griots trim restorer this weekend.
great stuff. Went on nice and easy and smooth. I took the advice and used a foam brush and stored the remaining in a mason jar. I think I only used about 1/8 of the bottle. The first coat was a touch streaky and blochy and had me worried. the second coat filled everything in and covered great. the luster and color are perfect and it looks like new factory. Hopefully this will last and I wont need any more dressings. None of them seemed to work for very lomg any how.
Some befores:

Just FYI.....

It has now been 1 full year since I used the Griot's Garage product, and all my black trim still looks totally awesome!

It's been over a year since I got mine Line-X'ed...I think they're still black...it's hard to tell under all the dirt.

Do you guys think the Griot's Rubber Prep is necessary before applying the bumper rand trim re conditioner?

I cleaned the bumpers with detail spray and then did a denatured alchohol wipe down. The alchohol cleaned all the crevices real good and removed any oils or dirt.
