Help - Problem with Rear Air Suspension
This morning I went to drive my 2003 H2 and noticed that the right rear of the vehicle was almost sitting on my 37" tire. It also looks like the left side is a bit lower. I know I have air suspension but do not know what causes this problem.
I also know I have seen this issue on the form before but I did a search ("air suspension") and got very little back to help me with this issue - any direction or corrections for this problem before I head to the dealer. Thanks

Re: Help - Problem with Rear Air Suspension
Did you start the truck and if so, what happened? Did the compressor run? Did the truck elevate?
If not, the easiest thing to check are the sensor arms. Check the right rear's sensor first. I don't have air so I don't have a pic for you, but it's visible behind the tire at the fenderwell. It may be broken, by fatigue, or some leaf licker snapping it for you.
If it's broken, use a ziptie to hold the pieces together and go get a new one. The truck will elevate when restarted and likely even out.
If that's not it... there are other things to check.

Re: Help - Problem with Rear Air Suspension
BTW, saw your bio and was wondering if you knew Dr. John Bower?

John Bower's name is well known in the End Stage Renal Disease community especially in the South states (Mississippi). I do not know him personally, but I have worked with a few of his relatives (Robert Bower) who also worked in the dialysis industry. Was the Bio from my Velocity website?
BTW - I am outside starting up the Beast to see if the air bags stablize and checking the parts mentioned by KenP.
Thanks

Yes, the bio was from the website. And I know Dr. Bower personally, through his son.
If the bags go back, you might have had a relay that "stuck" and let the air out. Could just be a freak thing. Of course, you could also have a leak, among other things.

Re: Help - Problem with Rear Air Suspension
I started it up and rolled out of the garage as a low rider as I hit a slight slope the Beast started to correct itself. Now it appears to be to high. I did press the button (Rear Height Control) for a few inches more of height and turned it off but it did not adjust - so now I am a Hot Rod with the nose lower than the back - think I will see the dealer just to be sure.
Paragon - Do you know Robert Bower - he worked for Renal Care Group in Nashville. I have been in dialysis industry for 33 years - enough is enough!
Thanks for you help
