Default HID Fog light help

I'm in the process of putting in some HID fog lights into the factory housings, but can't get them to work. It is a plug and play kit, no relay harness to the battery. Is there something with the computer in the vehicle detecting a different current and not letting them come on? I tested voltage to the factory harness and its reading a little over 14V, tried a new ballast and tested both bulbs with no luck. Any ideas? Thanks!

I messed with it and figured it out. Apparently for my kit the ballast input polarity is reversed so I just had to flip the plug around to switch the positive and negative. Maybe its the way the hummer is wired since incan bulbs dont care which way voltage flows through them. At least it was an easy fix. Woo hoo they are bright though!
