Hello All,
I have an 04 h2 which I truly and dearly love. The gas prices do not really bother me at the moment, since I do not drive that much as of yet. I pay about $100 and usually get 250 mpg. But the rumors of $5.00 a gallon from the current $3.30 a gallon, will make me think twice about the rig.
How high does the gas prices have to go for you not drive anymore?
Are these jump prices short term or long term?

A bazillion dollars. But my commute is from the kitchen to my office downstairs Even if it weren't, I'd still drive the H2.

Odd. My local gas prices rose around Easter and have been falling for the past week or so. So I'd say short term.
You should have invested in engergy securities earlier.

I'd drive it even if gas prices were $10 a gallon, just to shove it in other's faces.
That being said...I also work from home, so I only drive it for errands. It's a toy for me, not a necessity.

If it gets to bad I will just open my own gas station and give huge discounts to SUV owners and fill up for free. I will charge Prius owners double to make up for any lost money.

I'll just fill my tank 3/4 with gasoline and top it off with storm drain water.

YOU missed the joke. You said you drive 35 one way to work. You made it sound like the truck only made one part of the journey and did not do the round trip thing. HAVE SOME COFFEE and CHILL the **** OUT.

I don't really think about it much, usually just at fill up....that said I have already put it out of my mind by the time I exit the gas station!
I drive just as much be it low or be it high!
