Default 2007 vs 2008

It has been a long time since i posted as I mainly just read but I am ready to get a new h2 and knew here would have 100% more info than my local dealer and i was wondering how long before the 2008's come out or should i go ahead and get me a new 2007. I dont want to buy a 07 and 2 months later the 08 comes out but if it will be the fall before it debuts then i will buy an 07 now. The only thing i want is the factory rear camera which i understand is on the 07 but only on the limited editions. I really would like a slate blue or pewter metallic and nothing personal but i just dont care for the limited colors. I went to the website but doesnt show it as an option when you build one and i tried gmbuypower but they only let you search for 2006's?? Which i thought was strange any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

2008s will be out in the fall (late August or September)...The rear camera is also available as a stand alone option, so you don't have to get the limited edition. A slate blue with that option my be hard to find, though -- more likely to find a pewter. Hope this helps!

I would wait for the 2008...

So far, rumors suggest bigger motor, new interior, and although I haven't seen any exterior pics, I'd bet there will be something different.

Ok guys I know everyone wants pics but I promise I will get them up on or before Monday but I went ahead yesterday and bought a 2007 Lux w/navigation in slate blue. I will have to say I love it so far, it's really the same as the 2003 I had but some minor changes but I am happy with my choice and maybe in 2009 i will trade this one if there is any major changes on the 2008's

I'm with you. I just traded in my 2004 Victory Red LE H2 for a 2007 Victory Red LE H2. Between the ebony (vs. wheat) interior, the carbon fiber appearance package, the rear camera, and the NAV system (with self- installed iPod integration): It feels like a new truck to me.

Hope I feel the same way when the 2008's hit the showroom. My one advantage is that I like the Victory Red color, so the 2008 can't compete with that.

The new interior is ok, but i miss the orb-like air vents. I like the clock in the center panel though!
