When I had mine it fit with about 1/2 inch to spare.
*Note: Do not hit the raise function when in a garage with no clearance. Nothing like having the crunching sound as the truck rear raised. Ummm.. err... not that I did a dumb move like that... ummmm

Mines fits but is VERY close. I had to remove my roof racks.

I actually built my garage to accomodate my H2 which has a Gobi rack with the spare tire on top as well as a Mercedes Unimog I own (9 ft. high doors).
And to keep my better half happy, I gave her a garage of her own... a his & hers garage!

my garage is 81" tall, do you guys think i will have a problem fitting a 03 or 04 h2 in it allright?
iam also wondering could you get a lower profile tire to wrap around te stock rims to lower the h2 a few inches

This happened to me, except the emergency handle was stuck in the passenger door. Mine is a stock 06 and I had to adjust the opener to go all the way up. I have about 3" of clearance.
