Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
I have a question for those using OnStar who have Verison as the phone service through OnStar.
1. who bills your minutes, OnStar or Verison
2. OnStar minutes seem to run as low as $.15 per minute, what are
you paying for Verison minutes?
3. How well does Verison work through OnStar?
Also any other info on the OnStar/Verison Combo would be appreciated.
Thanks
RYD

(1) You buy your min with your credit card. When they run out you get a notification. You can buy more from the rig while you drive thru Onstar. In otherwords you pre pay your min. You also can see you stuff on The Onsatr site after you set up an account. You can also manage it on line.
(2) That's what all the post's were about in regards to miniutes.
As a new Customer you'll get 30 Min Free. Then You'll get the opening special 100 min for $14.99.
(3) Go here an it all explained..

Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
After you use your initial 130 minutes that OnStar gives to you at the introductory rate, it costs .40 a minute to renew. for a minimum of 100 minutes.
For this reason I linked my Onstar device to Verizon.
I get a family share plan of 1400 minutes a month, used on both my regular mobile phone and also with my Onstar device.
I pay $80 to verizon for my regular mobile phone, and 9.99 extra for the Onstar device #. I get all the same unlimited nights and weekends, as wit the mobile phone and just pay verizon. They also give me a new verizon phone # for the onstar device.
I do however need to keep the Onstar account active to utilize it. That is a seperate fee.

Re: ONSTAR DEAL #2
I have the H3 phone added to my verizon plan too. I can even forward my cell phone to it. It comes in so handy. I love it.
