Momentum goes a long ways in mud , but keep in mind that your rear diff unlocks when the speedo hits 20 mph.

P.S. - I cant believe someone isnt offering some chip or something to keep the rear diff locked at all speeds. It would be a great help in deep snow.

Make sure you keep the alternater clean or you'll end up with a dead battery!

Don't get caught flinging mud on the road either. Not to mention it's not nice to cover the vehicle behind you with big chunks of mud!

For really nasty mug bogging:

1) Place H2 in park.
2) Get out.
3) Sit.
4) Watch the lines everybody else takes through the mud bog
5) Learn where everybody else is hiiting holes, stumps, rocks, etc.
6) Make mental note to avoid #5
7) Plan STRAIGHT lines across the safe areas of the bog (see #5)
8) Get back in truck.
9) Have wife start video camera. (if wife not present see thread about inverter and microwave)
10) Line up with your first safe, straight line.
11) Place truck in 4 low, Lock rear diff, turn on TC2
12) Get about 15-20 ft from edge of mud
13) Floor gas pedal.
14) Hand on.
15) You chose a line with no bumps by watching others right?
16) As you near far edge and you know you will make it out ease off gas
17) If you chicken out and try to hit the brakes the pedal WILL NOT GO DOWN! TC2 will lock out the brake pedal until the weels STOP slipping.
18) Remember not to freak when brake pedal will not go down.
19) Ease out of far side of mud hole with remaining momentum.
20) Review video
21) As soon as possible remove rear plastic shroud from radiator (2 minutes at most, 4 bolts)
22) Hose out radiator from BOTH sides until clean.
23) If you skip 21 & 22 you WILL overheat. Trust the voice of experience here.
24) Drink beer & watch video over and over.
25) Encourage others to repeat

Warning: Drive like a "kitty" and you will get STUCK! "Drive it like to stole it!" and you'll be ok.
