i used the PAC modules--OS-2 and CM1 so onStar should still be up and running...as well as XM..I'm just not able to use them since they're not available in Europe (Germany)...

I don't think you will be able to control the oem xm from the Pio headunit as that is controlled via databus II commands. However, you could use a Pio tuner or an xm direct kit.
