Picking up new H3 next week . I ordered the marker lights. My Dealer tells me the have a"stop install" from GM. They tell me the lights are sometimes shorting out the dash board??
Has anyone heard about this??
They tell me this "stop install " from GM was issued about six weeks ago. They will install marker lights when the receive renginered wiring harness.
Info please???
Thank you,
Joe

The fix should be in by the end of the month. There have been all sorts of complaints about the marker lights, mainly concerning road noise. The information your dealer told you is correct.

Wow, this is the first time I've heard about it shorting out the dashboard. I do have marker lights installed and a few weeks ago I had a problem where my dashboard didn't work, full details HERE

It hasn't happened since though...

My dealer just told me yesterday that there is a fix kit for the marker lights, also told me that he has started to order the Nav system with recent orders.
