Default AutoCommand Remote Start Installation

I bought a AutoCommand remotestart unit from H2Source and Im about to get my mechanic to fit it - Im in the UK so hes not done one before although he works on US cars.

I got a couple questions...

How long should a normal install take?

Can it go seriously tits up considering its messing with alarms and what not?

How is it once installed...anything majorly bad (or good) I should be aware of?

I should of asked these questions before I bought it! Im ready to suck up the advice...

Good Bloody luck!!! Not a good idea to have someone who has never done one before start on a vehicle like yours--not easy at all. Are you aware that you will also need a databus interface to tie into the door locks and passkeyII anti theft systems?

Oh...

I bought the autocammand alarm bypass if that is what you mean???

He may have the databus interface as he works on American cars - I dont think he does many hummers though...

Phew! When I ordered I wasnt sure if I needed the bypass or not -

I had to get my order over $300 so Source would ship internationally... glad I bought it now.
