Nice ride and great color! I hope to get a boulder grey/ebony this fall. What color is the interior? Definitely post more pics when you get them.

Do you let it ride in the H3 yet? I can't stand when my boxer shakes inside....Spit and Hair everywhere!!!

THANKS for the comments! I have black leather interior.

Nope...haven't let Gus ride in it yet....I'm finding myself to be a little OCD about keeping it clean for some reason....don't know why....it's made to get dirty! Just can't let him in it yet...soon, though!

h3socal,
I had it installed a few weeks ago. This particular integration ("iPod2Car") is made by Peripheral Electronics and they have a really cool website so you ought to check it out....has a great section on the whole system!

http://www.peripheralelectronics.com

I love being able to listen to my iPod (have just over 3000 songs on it now and WAY MORE to go) with CD like quality...there's no getting ****ed off with an FM Modulator anymore. HOWEVER, I do have it scheduled to take it back in Friday to the stereo shop and have them take a look at it again....seems, there tech disabled my OnStar and there is also this little annoyance that keeps happening that is driving me crazy. I get in and start up the H3, then turn on the XM (this controls the iPod since there is no aux) and start to play a song...will be driving down the road and within about 15 to 20 minutes the music just stops like I just turned off the stereo...then usually within 3 to 5 seconds it will come back on again!!!! Sometimes the music does not come back on and I have to hit the power button on the stereo, wait a second or two then turn it back on and the musi

....music will resume right where it left off!??! This can REALLY **** ME OFF SOMETIMES, too. So, the shop owner wants me to bring it in to try and figure out what went wrong. I called Peripheral Electronics and the guy I spoke with told me that they had come up with new specs to be able to keep XM radio and OnStar with the H3. So, we shall see if my stereo guy can get it working correctly. I wish that Peripheral would just come out with a Hummer H3 specific harness and get the damn glitches worked out...they said since there was not one made for the H3 yet that they would have to use the one for the Chevy Colorado..which they said "is just like the H3 as far as stereo wiring"...well, OBVIOUSLY it is NOT...or I would not be having these little "problems" right now!

Anyway, through all of this, I am still happy I have it...paid 270.00 for the system and installation. Not bad, I think. I am currently trying to find a good dash mount that I do not have to use screws with to hold the iPod so that I can see what I am listening to....thats another downside...also, can't access your personal playlists from the stereo, have to use the iPod directly for that.

Oh well,
still like it....better than a damn FM Modulator!!
