Default Is this normal for front steering/suspension???

If I jack up one of the wheels off the ground, I can shake it back and forth. The tie rod pushes on the centerlink and rotates it upwards and allows me to move the wheel back and forth.

Is this normal?

As Phil say.... replace pitman and idler !!
With Cognito Kit you can solve a little bit....

The move R/L of the tires transmit motion to tie rod and after through pitman and idler to the centerlink...but this is the geometry of front of the truck.

slight up/down is normal, but excessive up/down is pitman/idler combo. Idler arm easy to replace, pitman takes awhile due to PITA of removing from steering box. Still under wty?? take to dealer to check out. Don't know the clearance spec offhand(f5fstop???) to tell you what's normal or not as far as tolerance.
