Re: ScanGuage II Trip Computer OBDII Code Reader and gauges
I put one on a built Mini Cooper that we race, well worth the money, but I just haven't got around to checking out our H3 with it yet.
Id suggest getting the ScanGuage 2, and grab an extra cable with it so you can hide the wire in the H3 and be able to remove the unit to scan/reset other vehicles as needed. Theres a phone cord style cable that plugs in the back or left side so its easy to just pop out.

The scan guage is cool. Anyone using the OBDII for interfacing codes and other things?

Re: ScanGuage II Trip Computer OBDII Code Reader and gauges
I use mine quite a bit. Mostly for aux guages....
I do like having a view to voltage, water temp, intake
temps and a few others...
It is a shame however, that certain bits of data are not available
via the OBDII port: tranny temp, oil pressure and a couple of
others.
I would have to say, for me...It's been worth the money.
