My new Gobi ladder is dripping rust all over my rear bumper. The ladder installed without drilling so it must be the ladder thats rusting???? Any of you Gobi owners experiencing rust issues?

I've only had mine about a month, but havn't a rust problem yet. The first rack I got was heavily damaged in shipping, the rails had buckled in some places so bad the powder coat had flaked off. I drove it from Seattle to Denver (much of it in the rain) to get replaced and I noticed that in those few hours on the road it had started to rusting. So if you have bare metal anywhere it wouldn't surprise me 'specially if your near the beach and into the salt. I'm thinking of getting my ladder and the top rail of the roof rack linex'd just to be safe.

feel I should caviat this by saying the Gobi is still the best rack out their bar none cost not being a factor, I think its still even better than what amstar is going to be putting out.

I emailed Gobi, and without question, they're sending me a new ladder. I didn't even ask for a new one. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
