Guru Needed-
When accellerating from a stop the rear end makes a very short high pithched noise, Should I have it looked at?
I really can't tell if it is the rear end or transmission.

Check out the post Hummer Humming. I posted it because I was experiencing the same thing. The dealer found a problem in the rear end. It was a ring and pinion as well as all of the bearings that had to be changed. They didn't have all of the parts so they put in a complete rear end from a new vehicle. There is no more humming when accelerating or when stopping. The problem is real, I would advise having it checked out.

No Pix yet, It is the Boulder Gray model. Did you buy in Sacramento? If so See Rick in Service. He took care of me pretty well considering my frustration with a 3 week old car. I'm going to try to keep a positive outlook, the Hummer reputation is good and most of the feedback from other owners is great.
Good luck with your H3. Maybe they will have all necessary parts by now...

Yes I did by in Sac, Rick has been great to me! He even has the rig picked up at my office and delivered before the end of the day CLEAN! I am very impressed with the service dept!

I purchased from Nick McKnight. They are the only show in the area with decent inventory. They also offered to pick up and deliver but I work from Merced to Redding and it is difficult to work that out. They have been accomodating with rental cars. It will be interesting to hear Rick's response when you bring the vehicle in for this problem. Rick said mine is the first time the problem came up. Maybe they'll order the parts in advance for you and save some down time. Good luck with the fix. I'm sure they'll take good care of you.

No, I missed the grand opening. I really haven't had an interest until I saw the H3 commercial on TV in early June. 3 weeks later I bought one. I am somewhat impulsive when it comes to my vehicles. I like toys...
