It keeps telling me I've exceeded size or transfer limit. I've been trying everything and still can't post. Does anyone have any advice? I'm using MSN Paint. Thanks

try this.
For those using Windows XP, there is a free download from Microsoft called ImageResizer. Once you install the program all you need to do is right click on the file(s) you want to resize and select the new size. Using this tool the full size photos from my camera, resized to 800x600 are also reduced in file size from 1 meg to 100k or about 10%.
Here is the link to the software.

Tim, great advice. Someone else here offered that to me and I use it on all my pics.
This is the size of a posted image using the "Smallest" choice. It is about perfect for this site.

NICE PIC!
Yeah, Alec gave me that a while back. I am going to be taking some pics later today. I have to wait for UPS to show first. More goodies for the SUT. It's almost done. WOOOHOOOO!

Anyone know of something similar to aid in renaming digital pics from the standard name assgined from the camera? I am drowning in images from 3 digital cameras and want to get organized ASAP.

I'm a bit behind, been busy with work. I don't see an answer to your question and hopefully by now you have come up with one but here is my suggestion.
Acdsee (acdsystems.com) or thumbsplus (cerious.com) both are great programs, both have free evaluation versions that when they time out simply un-install and re-install for another 30 days if you don't want to pay there samll fee for the program, both are a database of sort and both allow for easy re-naming of images and a host of other cool functions.

That's a great tool there. I'll have to check it out. It usually takes my wife a while to name all of our ipctures... She scrapbooks also, so it's important to get them straight...
