Default THCI..... strikes again.

So, am I the only one that just received their special edition Azimuth. The one that is the edition that lays out the plans and has information and maps for the Hummer Homecoming..... for JUNE 19-23, 2006

Here it is, at a minimum of 2 months after when I should have received it. If I were an advertiser, I would be pissed. As a member I'm pissed.

They told everyone at the Homecoming that they had a lot left over and would send these out to everyone all over. I got mine when I checked in. They had planned for about 800 - 1000 trucks to show. I heard around 300 - 400 showed. That's why there are plenty left over.

But try that sand thing anyway.

They obviously were to be mailed out prior to the event as any thing of this sort would have.

It's cheezy no matter how it's sliced. It looks the most unprofessional and if this was the only matter with THCI, it would be different. But this is just the continuation.

I thought that these were just for the goodie bag at the event. If they got sent out after the fact because they had left overs I wouldn't be surprised if they mailed them to satisfy the advertisers rather than discount the advertising fees. I am annoyed and though...more recycling to put out.

This is the issue that they handed out at the actual event... Looks like they have mailed additional copies to all members now that it is all over (I got another one in the mail, it is identical to the ones they gave out at registration)

A little explanation along with it would have been a simple thing.

I am surprised that this was handed out and not mailed to all members BEFORE the event. Not only is it a source of advertising but it would have been another method to encourage attendance. Maybe it's just me.

Apparently they weren't left overs. This is from a THCI email sent on 7/19. Apparently, they printed enough for everyone.

attending. Thanks to your generosity, tens of thousands of dollars were
donated to various charities and the HOPE program enlisted more volunteers

CD's of the event will be mailed out soon to all the attendees. If you were
not able to attend, you can purchase a copy for a small fee. A video DVD
is in the process of being developed and will be available in another month

The Homecoming Journal (a special edition of Azimuth) is in the mail. This
program was passed out to all the attendees and sponsors of Homecoming
and I printed enough to make sure all our members get a copy.
