HummerLV is off the scale
Default Extended warranty, i think so....

04 h2, 23989 miles on it, still under factory warranty until 04/07.
in the last 4 weeks,
had the upper ball joint fail they replaced both upper control arms. $1000 with towing
1 week after that RPM gauge sticking, dealer replaced with new cluster, $650
after those and reading the threads on extended warranty i called Black Caddy and bought the 60mo/40k mi extended for $1900 including the $500 hummer surcharge
1 week after the cluster, we went on one of our hummer ely trips 300 miles from home. after the 2nd day festivities i was fueling up and restarted the truck, 5 seconds later bells and whistles going off 'LOW OIL PRESSURE' turned off truck looked at the pan, ok, check oil level, full, restarted truck and no bells this time 40 to 60 psi on gauge, maybe just a fluke...
next morning on sunday ready for the offroading back home to vegas, bells and whistles again....leave running a minute or so to see if pressure comes up on gauge, no pressure but engine starting to click and tick.... now i know there was no oil getting to upper areas. called onstar and they do a diagnostic check, no problems found from that... they send a flatbed to pick it up. long story short, "oil starvation motor making a racket when dealer checks it" new motor time, dealer haggeling with GM over what to do now, GM wants dealer to rebuild, dealer wants to put a NEW one in. took a week but the dealer prevailed.. getting a brand new motor. cost $7500. pick it up today after sitting at dealer for 2 1/2 weeks.

after all that i am so F@*% glad i bought the extened warranty, if nothing else happens, major PEACE OF MIND
