Has anyone on the board ever installed the HotShot? I have a few questions prior to install. Thanks to all!

Thanks Tomp & Rod. I'll take a look at the links and gauge the complexity and decide if I'll tackle it... Keep you posted. Thanks!

Did you have to order the bypass kit from Hotshot? In order to use it in automatic mode the instruction manual says you need to know "if your unit is triggered by a negative or positive signal" Which fuse did you hook it up to? I'm very nervous to start the install. I don't want any electrical drama 2 weeks later when I'm in UT snowmobiling and my wipers don't work because I jacked something up. Or maybe I'm over thinking it. You say it was pretty straight forward though eh?

If your Hotshot unit was built before 01/05 you need to order a bypass kit from Webasto at no charge.
The install is very easy no need to be nervous.

NJ H2,
Thanks for the video link. I've watched the video and it is pretty straight forward. Thanks for the info!

My understanding is that it provides hot water to the rear wiper.
