Sunday 10.11.08
Here ya go, RYD.
Not much going on yet. Had plenty yesterday going on. We were invited to three events. *feels all popular* Now today it's just the usual.
Fixing to eat some brunch, will do some work, probably work on the first bedroom, go get coffee later, making Alice Springs chicken for dinner tonight, will watch some shows like True Blood, etc. and have a few drinks.
Still not feeling super great. Stupid flu/plague/bronchitis/allergies or whatever the hell it is is just hanging on forever. <sigh>

Re: Sunday 10.11.08
Sorry your still not feeling well...
My Mom keeps complaining I never have lunch with her so today I had NO STARBUCKS at 6 or 7 AM, No Bagel or Baily with cream cheese, (NO DAM NOTHING) I starved myself, not even a cookie. She likes to eat lunch at 11 or 11:30 in the morning whereas I eat around 2 or so...so like a good son I met hear at a Chinese Buffet (OH YEAH, JUST WHAT THIS BOY NEEDS, A ALL YOU CAN EAT PLACE)
I tried, I really did...but i was a bad boy...you know----a little of this, a little of that---a little bit of some of that stuff over there...wow that was good, may one more of that.............................................. ..
CHIT that was dam good...!!! 6000 calories later, 12000mg of sodium, I ate unknown amounts of CAT or some other strange meat, there were things I have never seen before, i ate them too..
BUT
I was proud of myself, no dessert !!!! cause there was NO FALKING ROOM IN MY BELLY..
After lunch I sat with her a while because she over-ate also !
Said my goodbys, kissed her on the cheek, told her I would call her later...
AND
ROLLED TO THE CAR ! have you ever seen a BALL try and get into an H-3 ?
I think the only other thing I will have today is a Tall StarBucks Latte tonight, extra hot of course............................

Re: Sunday 10.11.08
Time to trade up to an H2.
Another long day. Baby won't nap. He's clean, he's been fed, he's rubbing his eyes, but the moment you stick him in the crib he wails like a cat. Not a pain cry, more like I'd rather be at a bar cry. I've had the kids on my own for 3 weeks straight now, which means I go into hiding and let him cry himself to sleep during naptimes. It only takes 5-10 mins, but it sure does seem like a lot longer. Hate to do it, but I am wearing thin right now.
Hubby is finally home for an evening, so he's cooking dinner. Chili....mmmm! None for the baby, that would likely make things worse.
Planted my garlic and 2 varieties of lettuce this morning. Also pulled out bucketfulls of milkweed. And got the tomatoes wrapped up - I put plastic fencing around them to keep the dogs out. It's really a catch-22....I want to build a fence around the garden to keep the dogs away from my tomatoes, it would be so much easier. But I think the reason my garden is doing so well is because the dogs are in there so much and keep the other critters out. I just wish they'd snack on something other than my tomatoes!
Had my first issue with the H2 in a while, dead battery. Luckily I got it taken care of on Friday when it was still just weak and not completely dead. Took a bit to start it up and the clock was reset, easy fix.
Watching Dallas suck again. What is it with this team? Heck, what is it with football this season? Rutgers is 1-5!!!!!!

Re: Sunday 10.11.08
The young missus and I spent the morning taking turns on the 32' ladder hanging Christmas lights...before the snow starts.
Spent the afternoon out at the fire-pit, drinking different bottles of wine and eating smoked salmon and caribou burgers!
It snowed this evening and now the grounds covered!
We're the first home in the neighborhood with the lights up!
I'll sit back, drink beer, and watch all the suckers freeze their a$$ off in a couple of weeks!

Re: Sunday 10.11.08
It kills me when my cold friends talk about snow and it's hot enough here to run the a/c in the house and the truck. We just turned off the a/c and opened up the windows but it's still a perfect 72 right now at 3 something am.
