New additions to my chase vehicle
I thought I would post these pics of my vinyl lettering and get some comments as well as comments on the mounting of my CB and Nav. I had to mount to the dash due to the amount of equipment that will be installed and space limitations. I know some will not like it and will likely get flamed but the lettering really makes the truck stand out and what the heck...
I will begin mounting an additonal 2m/70cm amateur radio/antenna and my amateur radio license plates next week and after Christmas install amber strobes to the top and a RAM laptop bracket that attaches to the passenger seat bolts for my computer.

Special request....would you please upload one at a time so I don't have to click on them all wait for them to load blah blah blah. It saves your readers time an energy, think of it as "hospitality"

Nice job! I might have put the decal by the rear fender, but I'm just picky. I like it

She's probably just cramped up again. It's happens every month.
After you upload the pics, click the attachment icon again, then select one of the attachments from the list to place it inline in the message. Repeat for each pic. That way your pics will show up and you won't get the links.

Re: New additions to my chase vehicle
Thanks everyone and thanks for the Discussion Board tips as well. I do respect HummBebe after seeing her rock crawl on video. I have quite a bit of experience in forums, but they are all different so just getting used to using it. Thanks Sewie for the explaination.
I do worry about a thief seeing the equipment and attempting to break in. I think I am going to fabricate a black vinyl cover to go over the equipment when I park to make the stuff less obvious. I painted the back of the CB (that shows through the windshield) flat black and it seem to cammoflage it somewhat. The stuff is pretty easy to dismount, but I am too lazy.
I also looked for the best place to place the lettering and looked at several options. After getting with a few friends, we decided to center it on the front door. It is not obvious from the photo, but the inside of the lettering is chrome and reflects great against the steps.
Will post more pics when I install the other radio and the strobes.

This is only a new hobby and not a profession. I am simply a disabled military retiree with a little time on my hands. It is very seldom that anyone actually gets a job doing this sort of thing and I've been blessed recently and can afford to do it. My clock is ticking. Chasing is generally done for the thrill of the hunt. The trophey is the excitement, footage or photos.
Thanks for the compliment... Let's just say (without being labeled an a**kiss), that I had some rather bad experiences in other music oriented forums. I used to play music professionally on the big stage and have experienced many egos throughout my former music career. This hobby and vehicle is new to me, therefore the excitment.
I try to get along as much as possible with people that have common interests. It makes life much more enjoyable for me and the people around me. I love my H3 and find this forum very benificial. I have found so far that most members will go out of their way to provide useful information if treated with deserved respect. Sorry for briefly standing on my soapbox..

Thanks JP.. I am especially fond of these colors too. Red and Black used to be my old high school colors way back when.
