I already know where I'm going to put it, what I need to know is if I'm going to put a din size dvd player in that space, is there a lot of cutting that I would have to do? Or should it slide right in?

nope, you gotta do some cuttin. Just did an install n an H2, the install can be seen in Feb. Car audio an electronics. it's really not so bad, but you gotta cut none the less...
