My rear view and left side view mirror are always dimmed, even in the day time. I can turn the dimming off, but need to do that again each time I turn on the engine. And the right side view mirror never dims.

I'm pretty sure this is a problem but thought I'd check on the forum before I brought it in.

I got the signal mirror kit. Only "draw-back" is you loose the dimmer option. But they're really cool! Oh yeah, because the signal mirror miss the black plastic rim, which the OEM mirror have, I used black (soft) door edge around the signal mirrors (w/o loosing any significant area).
And also watch out, when braking, while mirrors are flipped in. This causes "red-zone-district" lighting inside the truck!

It sounds broken to me. It could be that the truck does not know it is daytime. You do not have anything covering the sensor on the dash do you?

Cheers

This problem seemed to have corrected itself over the weekend. Very cool when that happens.
