Default Changing trans filter?

I just received my aftermarket trans cooler for my 03 and figured I would flush the trans and change the filter at the same time I install it. I'm getting ready to turn over to 90k. I have been doing all the service on my truck myself since the warranty has ended. Is there any cross members I need to remove to get the pan out and change the filter? I see people have done it them self. I can't find out if I can just scoot under and remove the 16 bolts, drop the pan and remove the filter? This is the flush process I'm going to do since the trans lines are going to be removed for the new trans cooler. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums...id-change.html
