I have an 06 SUT and ever since I picked up the vehicle I have an annoying sunroof visor oscillation that occurs at 60+ miles per hour.
My service department has re-mounted the unit and sealed it to the roof with silicone...no change. Their idea now is to add 2 more retaining clips to the center area of the visor.
My service rep says this is a new problem that he is experiencing with other H2's. Has anyone else experienced this or have any input?

Give us a little more description please. Is there rattling; vibration you can feel; sound?

Does it get louder at higher speed; does it peak and then get quieter?

Vibration and humming sound. The turbulance even causes the sunroof to shake when closed. The faster I go the worse it gets. I can see the center rear edge of the visor vibrating when it occurs.

Pretty common issue. Often turns out to not be the sunroof at all but I'm not sure what to make of the sunroof shaking.

Have a click.

Finally a solution..

The dealership mounted anothe bracket in the center of the visor..no change. They removed the plastic covers over the front pillars (on each side of the windshield). Put sealant in and remounted the covers. No vibration or noise. According to the service rep. when the covers arn't mounted properly air presure builds under them creating turbulance over the sunroof visor. The turbulance was also causing the sunroof to oscillate.

Damn it, I was too late. My very first post here was a few weeks ago when I purchased my H2 and had this annoying rattle. After tightening and then removing the visor, I played with the reveal moulding at the top of the windshield.

It almost seemed like you could feel it on the windshield post. Having being in the bodyshop business for over 20 years, I'm used to finding rattles and squeeks.

I shook the post covers and typed in rattle in this search and WHAM, there it was. Windshield post rattle.

Perhaps the dealerships need to log on here.

Glad you found your rattle.
