My vote is pewter on pewter. Clean and simple, straight forward no-nonsense Hummer character. Black on pewter is too complicated, feels like fancy footsteps or one too many note in a perfect song. Pewter on pewter can't go wrong, but black on pewter has risk of 50/50.

I like my chrome on pewter ,
Second choice would be black on pewter.
I think pewter on pewter is boring .

I ordered mine last week and it will be black on black. I will throw a pic your way later this week hopefully.

You got it right!!! No discount for you. Sorry I didn't MAKE the offer, only delivered it. I placed my order today for the Pewter grill. It seems most written responses favored pewter-on-pewter, but the poll recently jumped to 50/50 split. (someone is obviuosly messin with me).

As for Striper Coast, it refers to and cross references my screen name SRFCASTR (Surf Caster).

Surf Casting is a method of fishing from the beach and covers a wide range of methods:

LAZY MAN
a) casting a chunk of bait out into the surf, laying on a lounge chair drinking beer after beer, waiting for the one dumb fish to swim by and eat it. (I wouldn't get caught dead doing this)

CRAZY MAN "Extreme Surf Casting"
z) Hunting the trophy fish by crawling out on rocks in the middle of the night or donning a wet suit and swimming to places that cannot be reached by casting (again in the middle of the night). THIS is my passion and my new H2 will get me there. From Cape Cod, MA to Cape May, NJ.

My wife continues to purchase more and more life insurance as she hears details of my exploits.

Stripers or (see below) Striped Bass are the trophy game fish targeted and prized by this band of crazies I fish with. Great fight, good eating, and ever wary!!

Sorry to dissappoint the pervs who were hoping Striper had all to do with exposing body parts!!

SRFCASTR

STRIPED BASS
Science Name: Morone saxatilis
Other Names: striper, rockfish, rock, linesides
Ideal H2O Temp: 65 to 70
World Record: 78.8 lbs. NJ
Environment: inshore, coastal, lake
Techniques: Surf fishing, casting, light tackle

None more black. Yet, I'm pale as a ghost.

[Wheels on order, will be powdercoated black. 37" MT/R waiting in my garage to be mounted on them.]

Yeppers, this is exactly what I want to do with mine, the grill is on the way as noted. Mine is a lux and I am having a hell of a time finding mirrors and door handles in black at an acceptable price. Did find a local guy to powder the stock tires in a crinkle coat that I like though.

Yours looks great, I am glad you don't live in my hood so I dont look like I ripped off your ride.

My grille is a factory black HUMMER grille, it is not a painted over chrome part. My truck is a 2003 (my second) and I bought the grille recently. [Anyone want to buy my chrome grille?!]

I'm considering getting my skid plate anodized black by Brite Lee but I'm thinking it's gonna get scratched up anyway.
