New guy here....looking to buy an H3
Hello, just introducing myself.
I`ve been lurking here for about 2 weeks, thanks for all the great info about the H3!!
I went to the dealer today trying to get some nombers from them.....I`m looking at an 06 H3 with the adventure package in boulder gray. They made me a very nice trade offer for my 05 Xterra Off Road, dang close to Kelly blue book trade value. I have a GM supplier discount and they say they wont go below that figure, so I left, told them they might hear from me, figuring I`ll see how bad they want to sell it to me. The dealer is in Turnersville New Jersey and I think they handled themselves ok for being car salesmen.
This would be my first GM product. I`ve always bought from the land of the rising sun and I worked for Honda, Acura and Jaguar as a mechanic for 23 years, so it`s nice to find a good place to read about the vehicle.
Anyway, I`m close to pulling the trigger, but I`m gonna take some more time to think it over. Maybe I`ll have some new pics early next week!
Matt
**EDIT** Whoops, I already started out on the wrong foot, I meant to post this in the general section. Mods, please move to general if you dont mind.

Just DO IT!
Don't know how true it is but when I bought mine with GMID my dealer wouldn't go a penny less saying they could get in trouble with GM for any other discounts. They wouldn't even throw in a cigarette lighter.....
I had negotiated them down a couple grand and then presented the GMID thinking I was going to get the hellacious deal and the salesman about blew a gasket when he saw the GMID.....

Bebe, you may want to consult with Ken and Alan, could be a tough move.

Re: New guy here....looking to buy an H3
I`ve been thinking about it all night, gonna make a counter offer either Saturday or Monday........I really like the H3, it wont take much for them to meet my numbers at this point.
Pics will definitely be dirty ones, I`ll take her off road the first day! Did the same with the Xterra, my 2005 Wrangler (I miss that one) and my FJ (dont flame me, its a nice rig). It`s become a bit of a tradition.

Do it!! You will be very happy! I traded in an 04 Xterra and have never been happier! The Xterra was nice, until I got the H3. No comparision! Do IT!!

The dealer won't budge off of the supplier price. When using the supplier number, you have to sign a document saying you saw the price on the GM invoice, and that is the price you paid.
