If you have 33" tires and want GM chrome rims.
GM product Mgr advises against it.The sheer
mass of the 33s are too much for the GM chrome rim.
Just a note.

Could it be that the mass of a 33" tire on a chrome rim on a non-Adventure Package (no 4.56:1 axles) is too much??
Arn't the wheels the same and one is just chrome plated??
I would same the weight of the additional rubber between 32" to 33" is more than the chrome???

no offence taken, and I do agree with you
there has to be a ploy,or a contract problem
with the wheel suppier that they only have enough for the production lux's.who knows?

FYI
I installed 295/75/16 nitto tires 33.4 " dia on my H3 on factory chrome 7.5 and have no problems. Actually pretty quite on the road and look good. Am installing B&B exhaust and Airbox from H3 Source on Saturday and SC as soon as I find a supplier.

I would be interested in hearing if the exhaust really gives you a in the seat HP boost.

I switched my stock wheels for OEM chrome wheels and kept my OEM 33" tires, I did not notice ANY difference (I thought that the MPGs or performance was going to be affected) but the ride is just the same, I have not had any problems since I switched the wheels (1000 miles on them already)... here is how they look:

I got everything from the dealer, they gave me a discount on the accessories, you can get it online at http://www.h2parts.com, they should have it in stock.
