Default Re: What can be done to better the MPG for the H3?

The new Vettes have 400-500hp, high street gearing, 6-speed trans, and almost no wind resistance

so figure at 60 mph in 5th gear the engine is harding working at all.

I get about the same gas mileage in my 1973 Corvette coupe (L82 4 speed) as I do in my H3 so perhaps there's hope for the H3 in 30 years or so...

Like I said before, the RCMP is awesome.

I thought there was mention of a smoking jacket with the H3?

I want to thave one too. This way I can sit out in the garage and look at my truck with everyone else.

GLBLWARMR: I think your mileage tip was by far the best one and I believe jfontestad owes you a years supply of gasoline for being the winner. Mac you are also a rookie and not a peace officer here so maybe you should lighten up. The Rebel

The flaming Hummer idea sure makes for a spectacular scene! I'd be willing to watch.
