Forever Hummer
Ill tell you guys, the only vehicle I ever want to be driving is the H2. Unless some company comes out with a similar vehicle to fill the void, I dont know what I will do when it comes time to get a new vehicle.
I can have other vehicles, but for what I use the H2 for its perfect.......
hummmm.

Re: Forever Hummer
I fully agree. My H2 is a complete joy in my life, its like one of my kids as crazy as that sounds. I hope to keep mine for a long time. I only fear gas going to $5-$6 per galloon and making it too expensive to drive. $4 was making it a bit rough on the wallet. Hopefully gas wont go there again for a while.

Re: Forever Hummer
I would have to agree with you guys. The Hummer is way to much fun. the first time I got to drive a Hummer was a mil version H1 when I was in the Army. I drove them for 8yrs in the Army and said then some day, I would buy one and did once i could afford it. I plan on passing mine off to my son someday as a old timer so he can continue taking it to car shows like I do now.
Living in Europe the Hummer is a rare brand so driving around in my H2 is really fun.

Re: Forever Hummer
I love my H2 and would not want to drive anything else. I love the seats and the seat heater for my bad back and it goes through the snow and mud like nothing else I've ever owned. It has been very reliable and trouble free. There's nothing like a HUMMER!

Re: Forever Hummer
I am the same way.........I LOVE my H2's I can have a bad day, and things go wrong, but get in one of them and it makes me HAPPY.
They are the most amazing vehicles I have ever owned. I have had a lot of nice vehicles in my past ( Lincoln Navigator, Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition, Ford Excursions, Lincoln Town Cars, and many others ) but as I have said before, and I will say over and over......NOTHING can compete with a Hummer. It is the BEST vehicle I have ever owned. Normally when I get a vehicle after driving it, and owning it for 2 years, I am ready to trade it and get something else. But with my Hummers........I have no plans on trading them. I have a 2007, and a 2008 H2, and I cant say anything at all bad about mine.
IF GM does pull the plug, and call it quits, and cant find a buyer to buy the Hummer division, I am thinking about going and buying a 3rd Hummer H2 (2009)
NOT that I need it.........but I will have a set of three that will last me a LONG LONG time. I cant ever see myself driving or owning anything but a Hummer. I sure hope they find a buyer or continue building them. They are great for everything, weather you want to haul people (very comfortable seats) or going on trips (some will say they are gas guzzlers and will eat up all your vacation money for gas, but drive it at 64mph and you will see 19 and 20 mpg out of it) They are great for the snow and ice, off roading, going to the grocery store.............its just a great all around vehicle.
I could go on and on..........but I will hush for now.

Re: Forever Hummer
My only complaints (both are easily fixable) is the weak tie rods and the weak transmission. (Okay, so the second is fixable...but a bit expen$ive!).
