I emailed Lynch this morning to see if they could send me a pic of the Superior Blue. I had been waiting on my Slate Blue but since I have to start the whole damn process over again, might as well see the Superior before I pull the trigger again. So far nothing back from them yet but if they send pics, I will post them so all can see. Thanks for the heads up about Lynch gbush.

Dang, I was at the dealer yesterday with my Nikon D70 in the front seat, and parked three away from the superior blue H3. Maybe next week...

Maybe fstop, Builder or someone else here knows the answer to this. Are all GM vehicle paint colors the same if the name is the same. Just had lunch with a friend that just bought a Trailblazer and he said it was Superior Blue. Is Chevy's Superior and Slate Blues the same and Hummer's? If so, that would be the easiest. Just go to a Chevy dealer and compare the colors on another type of vehicle to get an idea.

Yes, this is the same superior blue. The GM color code is 22 for both.

Thanks, do you know if the Slate Blue is the same with Chevy? He said that it was also available on the Trailblazer.

I would bet that it is, although I didn't confirm the color code. The color code for slate blue is 46, and is the same as 'stealth gray' on the 05 H2s...

Congrats mainer. You will not be able to sleep. When you are just about to fall asleep, you will hear a train horn off in the distance and jolt back awake

Thats what I had heard so I went with Slate because I love the Stealth. Some of the pics I have seen don't look the same though. Guess I will have to go shopping at the Chevy dealership I will be upfront with the salesman though that I am just looking at colors.

Oh, and by the way, zero response from Lynch so far

Well, I searched around the GM site and could not find any vehicles that had the Slate Blue as a color. I was told that the Trailblazer does but it's not listed as an option. Even the Colorado doesn't list it as an option though that is why there was a delay in releasing it. Waiting to release it on the Colorado at the same time as the H3 from what I recall. Anyone know of a vehicle with the Slate color option?

I would not trust the naming convention, I would only trust the actual WA paint code number on the RPO (options) listing tag on the vehicle.
You would think they would be the same, but I don't trust 'em. I do know that for a few years, the same blue was used on Saturn's and Grand Prixs, but they had different names, but identical WA paint code numbers.
Taking a digital photo may not display the correct color to everyone. If I take a digital photo, and put it on my computer then resize it, and apply any color correction, it could be different than on someone else's computer. I calibrate my monitor with a Monaco EX system so colors I print are the same as on the monitor. (My hobby is photography.)

Not all vehicles will use the same color even if it is called the same. But the H3 colors that are used on the Colorado are the same.

Builder,

If the colors of the H3 are the same as the Colorado, are they not offering the Slate Blue on the Colorado?
