Anyone have the OEM Hitch mounted flip down step. If so, would you recommend. I stepped on the rear bumper wing and bent it down. I assumed the entire bumper would support my weight. It seems this step would help to get up onto the bumper to get to back roof.

Check out the GOBI D-ring steps, they are helpful as well. I just had a thin plate welded to a piece of receiver stock...painted it black and put 3M tread paper on the surface. Works great for when I need it.

The fold up ones are great....have seen several different ones. If you're doing any rock climbing though...take it off/out or they will break off....right Phil! :-)

I have one and its great, we use it all the time unloading and loading the back; and it looks great too. Remember you have to buy a hitch lock too.

I have one of the fold-down hitch steps.

It died a rather ugly death in the rock garden at Paragon AP.

Other than that, it was $23 well spent on ebay.

Get it, you'll like it.

I am getting one after climbing on NJ H2's roof this Saturday--he has one hell of s good looking GOBI.

The step is practical--tired of getting out the step ladder to get into the back of my machines.

Make sure to ask for the handles too. That way you have something to pull youself up as well.

Randy Newman says:
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
To live
They got little hands
Little eyes
They walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little feet
Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
`Round here
Short People are just the same
As you and I
(A Fool Such As I)
All men are brothers
Until the day they die
(It's A Wonderful World)
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
To love
They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That go beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
'Round here
