Not sure if there are any local H2 owners here, but you are welcome to hit a few trails into some canyons up above Cohasset next Saturday. Just a day trip start at my place 8am.....I would say maybe 3-5 out of 10 rating, so not real bad, taking some new 4wd owners for a breakin run on their stock vehicles....

5spd -
I'll be up in Red Bluff for a few weeks over the holidays...I'd love to get the skinny on some good trails/places to play/people to play with. I know Chico is very close.

Drop a line to me when you get in the area...RB is only 30 or so from here....you can even go up Hogsback Road out of RB and drop down into the backside of Chico all on forestry roads, all in the mtns...lot longer though.....LOL

Ok.....not worth the wait, but since no one else wanted to go I went alone. I ended up pulling 2 others out of their stucks, no pics since I can't pull and pic at the same time, me I dont get stuck....

There is about 2.5' of hard packed snow under the truck, slippery and cold as heck..

Its an 85...with ton of goodies:
88 rear...its 3" wider than the 85 year
4.88s with lockers frt and rr
OBA
2" BL
92 motor, 22re naturally
Hysteer, 88 IFS steering box to match
63" chevy 1/2 ton springs in rear with custom drop hangers to eliminate lift blocks.
4" allpro srings in frt
Marlin dual cases with 4.0-1 gears in back case, stock gears in frt case, this equates to 175-1 in low-low range.
35" MTRs on 15x8 with 2" BS
Budbuilt dual X-M
Ford shock towers up frt.
Custom shock mounts in rear.
Custom frt bumper with Warns 9500HSi winch
Rock lites under body/frame for nite wheeling.
Yea its been fun building it from the stock after its all said and done. Never a breakdown either!.........

Maybe you should have thought about bringing a jacket with you if it was that cold

I love the snow. I miss the days of loading up snowmobiles with my dad and playing all day. On a good trip we would get about 10 people out there and go from morning till night.
