Does anyone have part numbers for the '04 painted grills??

I here you can get color matched, black, or chrome.

Sure would like to add it to my H2.

I just called the dealer and the grills just come primed and you need to get the body shop to paint it. $300.00 for the grill and $150.00 to paint.

You might want to check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2443040421&category=33 645
Read the page carefully. Down towards the bottom they state they are available on their website for $335.00 already painted.

Head over to www.hardforums.com and ask the people in the Cars section about painting the grill yourself. It shouldnt be that hard.

Spike I did check it out and yes I will be ordering one for my 2004 due in December.

I am eliminating ALL chrome on my Pewter colored H2(wheels, grille, rack, etc) and seek opinion from the informed and stylish members of this esteemed H2 Source forum:

Pewter on Pewter

or

Black on Pewter

Srf,
I'm doing the same thing you are- eliminating all chrome. Already have black mirrors and door handles, and have powder coated my wheels. I'm in the process of having my grill painted black now. Just recently I saw the pewter grill installed and I've got to admit that I wavered for a second, but now I'm back to my original plan of a black grill.

SRF I was considering the pewter on my pewter H2. Now that I see a pic of the black on pewter, I like that much better.

All grills are available directly from factory painted to match body. I purchased one recently in black.

How did you make the purchase? Direct to factory? or Thru Dealer?

If direct, please provide access (tele, www, or other).

How much did you pay?

look at the ninth part down http://www.factorycustoms.com/eshop/productsByCategory.asp?strSubCatalogID=1&curCatalo gID=10007&strSubCatalog_NAME=Exteriorfrom from the top.

SRFCASTR
As usual your dealer is gouging you. You can get a painted factory grill for $399. Changing the grill should take about 10 minutes.

Found my receipt on black grille. Part number is 1249002 and list price shows $383.00. I paid 321.72 for grille and $21.60 for installation.
