Hey gang. I'm still shopping around for my first Hummer. An H1 would be put to good use in my household. But I'm still not sure that I need to get an H1.

My husband is traveling out of state and found this deal. What do you all think?
1992 H1 Wagon
Only 21,000 miles
6.2 Diesel Engine
No major body damage, absolutely no rust
Price is less than 30K.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Danielle

sounds like a fair price given the year. I'd be concerned about the age and where, and how it's been stored the past decade. Good Luck

What I would really be considering is how much the truck will be used. A 92 is more or less a Humvee, there is really nothing civilan about it. A 92 is loud as hell inside, they have NO power, wont do much over 60, seats dont recline, A/C SUCKS (and will at somepoint need a 3thousand dollar upgrade). If you want an H1 I would vote for getting a 96 and up turbo diesel with a replaced engine.

Thank you for the comments on the H1. I think I'm going to pass on this one.

I was in the market for an H2 or H3, and this one just kindof caught my eye. But, definately not a daily driver.

Thanks again,

Danielle
