Dropped steering box to replace pitman and it's now leaking

After moving it every which way to get the puller on, I noticed there's a small drip from the top of the box.
Will this go away after everything is installed or did I damage a seal? Or just wait and find out?

You should know pretty quick after you crank the wheel a few times.
Even looking at the picture I'm not sure how exactly it all works. I'm hoping it's because the shaft was putting pressure on the area leaking and once the box was mounted and the pressure was removed that it seals up.
Sounds like the alternative would be a broke a seal putting pressure on the shaft. ...
