Default Can the air compressor (in the back) inflate your tires?

Does anyone know how you can fit a tire inflator on the hose that GM provides w/the air compressor (in the back of the H2)??
It came w/a needle, and another attachment, but I was wondering if you can inflate your tires if needed. I've been looking around the hardware store for an adaptor that could possibly use to thread the tire inflator.

Any advice would be appreciated.

From the 2003 manual....

Your vehicle may have an air inflator system. The air
inflator is capable of re-inflating the vehicle’s tires if
they have been deflated. You can also inflate things like
basketballs, air mattresses and bicycle tires.

Just looked at my old hose in the garage attic (took my air ride out and put in coils) and on the end with the gauge you should be able to screw it right onto the valve stem of the tire. I know a lot of the folks on here that take their trucks off road air their tires down for better off road traction and then those with the air ride will air the tires back up again using the hose.

In the older H2's there was a valve stem right by the compressor on off rocker switch. You hook the hose up there and the other end would thread onto the valve stem on the tire. Did you check the owners manual?

YES, that's what it is for to reinflate your tires after you air down offroad. If you go down to around 8 psi, to bring them back up to 37 psi takes about 5 minutes each tire (been there done that many times), so give yourself lots of time.
I carry two bottles of Hutchison's fast air bomb and seal under the back seat for when I want to do more than one tire at the same time and get out of Dodge! One bottle will do a stock H2 tire from 8 to 37psi in about 40 seconds.

Yep 18 psi. I would NEVER go below 15 psi with a stock tire offroading. I really haven't noticed a lot of difference between 15 and 18, so I just stick with 18.
