Default CTIS Problem?

My front two tires are constantly going flat. They go completely flat within a few hours. I called the dealer and they don't know if it is something they can fix. They said they don't know H1's too well. Does anyone have a clue to what might be the problem? Is it worth getting rid of the CTIS and just going with regular tires and new rims.

check out the following site http://flashoffroad.com. if anywhere has the solution it'll be there. or get in contact with Dave at Bluehummer outfitters. there both great sources of info.

You could also try swapping out the solinoids front and rear then see if you rear tires start going down. next I would look for bad hoses or conectors.

before you check anything else disconect your front tire CTS at the wheel hub. this can be done by pressing the little tab on the connector in the center of the wheel. it should pop out 1/4 - 1/2 inch. when youv'e done this leave for an hour or so an see if one or the other tire goes down. if it does it could be a simple puncture or worse case bad rim. If it is a puncture I hope youre not running runflats.

It could be leaking at the front tire valve on the CTIS manifold. If it is a CTIS problem I would bet that one of the lines on the front is bad. There is a T fitting with a line running to each wheel, usually the passangers side is the first to go. Try with disconnect the CTIS lines as ground hawg described the pressurise the front lines to 45 PSI, by turning on the compressor while the lines are disconnected. Then see how long the lines hold pressure, they should not have any significant drop in pressure for at least five minutes.
