Default Surging Between 45-50 MPH

Lately I've been getting an inconsistent surging in my RPM's when cruising between 45-50 MPH. I can visibly see the tach needle jump. It usually does this when I first take the truck out, and then basically goes away. Took it to the dealer and they did the injector cleaning, etc., but I'm still getting the problem. They suggested that it could be the transmission, but wanted to look at some cheaper fixes first.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Charles

I appreciate the help everyone.

The problem we're having diagnosing it is that it's intermitent. I can't get it to happen when I'm at the dealer...of course. Like I stated earler, the dealer did the injector cleaning and all that crap. I'll ask if they scrubbed out the throttle body.

Please post if you find a fix. Mine does this at idle - not every time, just every now and then. Usually after I run it for a bit, shut it off, then restart 30-60 mins later. It will surge until I give it gas, then it's fine. Can't duplicate it at the dealer either!
