Re: off road at Beaver Race track
Its near Petrollia (sp) just a few miles away in the back country. I wanna do mini-nigra, which basically is a climb deep down over a rock that the stream runs over. I would like some pics of my rig sitting on the top as the water runs under it.
Going in this run is okay, the climb out is technical for sure. But I got a warn winch now so feel pretty confident that getting out will be just fine.
Last time I went I was alone with a few jeepers as ubbs couldn't make it at the last moment. It is about a four hour run, providing nobody gets stuck in the mud slinger again.
Dave and I always run together on this course, and if you bring a spotter with you he can assist. If not, than you will be in radio contact with him.
There were some places I just couldn't go because I didn't have a winch and there were no other trucks w/ us that I felt okay to pull me out if I did get stuck.
When the weather breaks and we get some dry time, lets go.
I live just out from downtown butler in west sunbury. The place is a hours drive from here, depending where you live we can meet here or at a more suitable location. Bring your camera and video.
I am also going to do it during a night run this summer.

Re: off road at Beaver Race track
For those of you who like older cars, the Beaver Run has part of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix there annually. Great time. Best part is the American Iron races, Vettes, Camaros , Mustangs, from the 60's and early 70"s... Lots of cool racing.. and last year for a donation the drivers would take riders for a loop. The first time around it was a cruise for all the drivers but the last car participating, which was a 427 Cobra who the passanger offer a few extra bucks donation for a fun run... and the Cobra driver really smoked his way thru the course...after that the cars were all running hard with the passangers... good time for a good cause

Re: off road at Beaver Race track
That would be correct and reflects my standing in the US Army before my May-West in 91.
I am a true patriot, some say "zealous" but I don't think I am extreme. So what if I will use physical force to stop a flag burner from burning my nations flag? I call it a character flaw...
As soon as the weather breaks, I am going to put on my roof rack.
I am not in town much, just doing some business today.
Send me a PM if you want to stop by sometime or just email me through my website. I am off to the shop to get some work done today.
