I want ot do my forst oil change.
Can someone tell me what the K&N filter part number would be or perhaps another major oil filtr manufacturer purolator? I can then cross the part number at Advance auto.
Also how many quarts does it hold with a filter change as well?
I am going to run the castrol 10w 30 synthetic..
Hot as hell here 80% of the year....
Thanks

AC PF61...6 qts with filter change.
If the store needs a cross-reference, use the Colorado/Canyon, but make sure they cross-reference the 5-cyl, not the stock 4-cyl.
I used a Mobil 1 filter, but honestly can't remember the number.
And really, do you have to say, "Hot as hell here 80% of the year...." when I'm freezing my nads off?

3? damn! that is cooooooooold.
Yeah we get 2 mabye 3 freezes here during out 2-3 month winter...never any snow which bums me out. I could go for a good snow hammering the H3 would love it also...
But the summers here in Brunswick GA are HOT...we pay in the summer and you pay in the winter.....are you running block heaters in your vehicles? My ex wife's rents lived in Bagley Minn. we used to go there 4 times a year and every xmas damn cold there for sure.
Getting in hat little 2 prop plane in Minneapoils and landing in Bimiji airport was always a butt puckering experience......
the guy that flew the plane was the same guy that took your luggage out whcih was the same guy who sold you the tickets...........
Hasnt snowed here where I live in GA in 15 years we do get frost though on the roofs.
A big snow storm here in town would paralize this place people cant drive as it is snow would be a joke....
I always owned a 4x4 from the time I was a kid and I built them all. My friends and I would wait until the snow hit hard meet up at 1am and have fun.
This is the latest project, juts got it done in the nick of time befoe my second child was born 9 weeks ago....time has all but left me for projects having a crazy full time job and an 18mo old boy and a 9 week old.
I still need to get a 6 point cage in her and add the seatbelts so I can cruise the kids..also need to figure out the top situation.
I have a full hard top but it neds to be gone through and painted. I have a 35 year old OEM soft top with the skin in pretty dran good sahpe but the frame needs to be blasted and re-painted and it really needs a new skin made. The local guy I had do my interior said he could make one juts a matter of cash at this point. Here is a pic what do you think?
1969 International Scout 800.
Spring over axel conversion, 4 wheel disc brakes, Hi steer flat top nuckles, stainless brake lines, long travel shocks, f250 shock towers, power steering , power brakes, 266 International V8, Dana 300 twin sticked xfer case, T19 wide 4 speed tranny (manual with granny low), 4:56 gears with lockers front and rear, greasable shakles and a reverse shackle. The underneath is as clean as the top...had every nut and bolt and body panel off of her and did it right... all work done be me down to the paint.
4ht truck I have done and my last for a while, no patience and money for the hobby..I did a 78 Scout II, a 73 early ford bronco, and hghly modified a 89 jeep wrangler..V8 alum heads dual exhaust etc etc....
UNMYFLO
Oh I wanted to take the 800 down to Jacksonville Fla to the HUMMER dealer and run their track with it......It will crawl on its own in 4wd low in first gear unattended...insane to watch...you could pull a house down with it.
It walk all over their track they say portions of it only the H1 can do....hehe
