Rear bumper turn/brake light
Anyone know the part number for the socket?
Is it available alone or do you need to purchase the whole wire assy?

The contacts inside the socket are corroded...they are removable/replaceable?

Re: Rear bumper turn/brake light
I have searched the treads and I can not find where although it appears as if you need a metal bracket to hold the light in place when converting an earlier H2 model (03) with rear bumper lights of that found in an (05+). Can some who has converted theirs confirm that? Thanks

Re: Rear bumper turn/brake light
Excellent. it looks as if the bracket connects to just one bolt when I look underneath, closest to the side panel. I assume that all it needs ... correct?

Re: Rear bumper turn/brake light
Also my thread in the General H2 Discussion section is not generating any responses so maybe someone here could tell me how to wire it up. My connector has 3 wires (ground, major, and minor). My bulb is a 2 filament bulb. I read where I could "easily" tap into the hitch harness. What say you
Thanks

Re: Rear bumper turn/brake light
ah ...ok... can someone translate that diagram into english for me
My connector has 3 wires, one is a ground. one (major) would be for the running (parking light) wire. then the last wire (minor) would be for ???? do I hook it up to the brake light wire or the turn signal wire? I mean I dont think I can hook it up to both turn and brake ... can I???
thanks for your help
