Re: Ouray, CO
Ah, Ouray! I have had a return trip in the back of my head ever since we took the ?66 VW Squareback Sedan on some of the "Jeep" trails but with a capable vehicle, like the H3, which would be perfect.
Very high altitude, lots of "Jeep" trails, beautiful Alpine meadows, old gold mines! I hope it hasn?t changed in 40 years since we were there. Back then we camped in a tent in the park in town.
Hope you guys have a good trip and I am looking forward to pictures, etc.
Best regards, Happy Jack

Re: Ouray, CO
I (with my wife, 4 and 5 year old) am going to be in Ouray sometime the end of July beginning of August. We will spend about 9 days four wheeling and going to the hot springs.
If you do a PM include me, I have not set my dates yet so I am a little flexible.
Pic is half way up “the obstacle” on Poughkeepsie gulch.

I'm not sure what you mean there, but I'm booked for July 28-30 @ Best Western.

My family and I will be wheeling in the Ouray area from 7-30-06 (maybe the 29th) through 08-04-06.
Not sure where we are staying yet.

Re: Ouray, CO
I just got back from Telluride. I didn't have the Hummer, but I'll be back with it. Gotta run Blackbear Pass, Imogene, Ophir, and a ton of other trails out there.
