Question Driving Questions......

I'm looking at getting an H-1 next year, but i need some help deciding! I want as little road noise as possible because it will be driven daily...i also have a light duty goose-neck trailer that i will be pulling, so it is going to have to be a 4-door open/hard top. Another factor is i want an open top but what kinda road difference are we talking..some, alot, unbearable??? Thanks for your help, and if you know anything from experience relating to daily driving please let me know.

Thanks

I don't know personally about pulling a goose neck but I have seen it done with a 4 door hard top.

I have a '94 4 door hard top and the road noise was almost unbearable at first (I actually wore ear plugs). I added a lot of sound proofing along the firewall, doors, and doghouse which helped a lot. I later found that my timing was off which created more noise than usual. Now its not bad at all.

Boom B!tch! Nice lennyrebel. If I were you, I'd be happy to get a HUMMER. I wish I could have me the big papa. But, lo is me, I have the ultra-capable, more-fording-than-an-H2 HUMMER H3.

Thanks leenigen...a whole lot of dynomat and a little tuning sounds easy enough. Anyone have any experience with an opentop which is what i really want but if it dosen't fit the bill i'll get a hardtop.

3Hummer...a gooseneck is the type of trailer hooks up much like a fifth wheel rv.

BTW---it's a toss up between Honda Civic, Toyota Prius, and a Tahum H2

Besides the lack of a roof, I don't think there is a big differance between hard and soft top. I would think you'd be okay pulling a goose neck with an open top but I've actually never seen an open top up close.
