I've noticed recently (maybe its been like this all along...dunno) that my AC acts a little weird.
When NOT on AUTO I have to turn the cool/warm dial all the way to 90 to get the system to blow hot air, regardless of interior/exterior temp. ALSO, when NOT on AUTO and WITHOUT the AC (snowflake) on if I turn the dial down below 75 the air that comes out is very cold...cold like the AC is actually running...but the 'snowflake' is not lit.
Would anyone on the forum say this is 'normal' behavior...I ask because I rarely use my AC/heater for anything and have no real reference which to compare.
What I do know is that I've had my climate-control control unit replaced once because it went completely dead; and the tech indicated that these control panels are not extremely reliable. I've already noticed one of my LEDs (rear defroseter) in the new unit has burnt out so I've been thinking about ordering a replacement anyway...if what I've described is not normal behavior do you think replacing the control unit will return things to normal?
Thanks in advance.

Also...does anyone have (or know where to get) a replacement unit...at a reasonable price? It looks like this unit is specific for Hummers, so snagging one out of a 'Burban or Tahoe at the local junk yard isn't gonna work.
Maybe I'll just deal with the nuisances of producing hot and cold and open this sucker up and fix the LED myself.
