Default Anyway to verify gear ratio on Ring & Pinion set?

How could I go about verifying the newly recieved Ring & Pinion sets I received off of ebay are 4.56:1? Is there a way to do this? Thanks

number of teeth on ring gear divided by number of teeth on pinion gear.

take that number and multiply it by your lack of a google toolbar.

is possibly stamped on ring and/or pinion.

Well all H-2's are stock with 4.10 gears so the ones you recieved are obviously lower ratio at 4.56. There is A ratio stamped on every ring gear and if the ones you recieved have 41 teeth on the crown gear and 9 teeth on the pinion gear its A 4.56:1 ratio

Put your truck on a lift, mark a spot on your drive shaft, turn the rear wheels 1 revolution, count how many revolutions the drive shaft makes. Say it makes 4 1/2, you have approx. 4.50 gears.

I think he wanted to check them Before he had them installed...

I mean, that's what I got out of his question
