Dash kit
Does anyone have information on where I can get instructions on how to get at the gauge face. I want to change out the black one for something I can see better in the day time.

Re: Dash kit
I know when to get the guage face. I need to know how to get the dash off so I can put it on.

Re: Dash kit
Lower the steering wheel.
Grab hold of the top of the trim panel that surrounds the cluster, and pull straight back. It is held in place ONLY with fasteners; NO screws.
Remove the four cluster screws (one at each corner), pull back the cluster and remove the connector.
From there on, you are in charge....

Re: Dash kit
Now that is what I call quick and easy. Thanks for the info.
I have installed a white gauge face on a 1998 Mustand and a 2002 Honda. They really brighten up the area. The way the gauges are set back in the dash of the H3 causes it to be hard to see sometimes, with all the sun here in Texas. Thanks again for the info.

Re: Dash kit
What color you using. I have heard some colors don't blend well with the H3 backlighting. I'm been thinking of white.

Re: Dash kit
I have contacted US Speedo and they have a stainless gauge set up with red numbers. At night the numbers show up red as well. The standard white needles have to be used. No one has colored needle change outs for the H3 at this time.

Re: Dash kit
The back light set up is the same as usual, however, the color of the numbers is red. I also found out I can paint the back side of the needle a color. The needle front is the standard white. The color of the needle is whatever the color you paint the back of the needle when the lights come on.
